Cacace Filippo

Cacace Filippo

He was born in Bari in 1959, into a family of artists. Early in design, at the age of nine he already grapples with Leonardo's Last Supper. He is a pupil of Riccardo Tommasi Ferroni, his ideal teachers are Caravaggio, Raffaello, Rembrandt, Michelangelo. He realizes the fresco in the Mater Dei church of the Baricentro (Casamassima), dealing with an area of 20 x 8 meters. Linked to the classical world, he engages in grisaille, watercolor, etching, gouache and silver tip. He paints angels, warriors, winged horses, Madonnas, cherubs and still lifes with great creativity. It thus combines the deep knowledge of the technique with the inspiration and passion of research.
